Each Mini Original drawing starts among the pages of Erica's sketchbook as a quick graphite drawing. From there each page of paper is hand torn to create the perfect size paper for each drawing. To add a little extra fun to each drawing small pools of watercolor are added to the paper forming fun shapes that are unique to each piece. The sketches are then transferred and hand drawn in graphite to creating a series of original drawings that are similar but each have their own individual personality.
The aster flower is September's designated Birth Flower. This daisy like flower blooms in the fall and considered a herb. Traditionally the Aster represents Wisdom, Faith and Valor. The Greek name comes from the word for Star, and this tiny but mighty flower sure does live up to that name!
**Please note that due to the handmade quality of this product, size, color, and drawing can differ from piece to piece. Each paper is approximately between 4x4" and 5x7" but the exact size will differ.
