Known for its low maintenance, it flourishes in heat and drought, flaunting vibrant colors that are unmatched. These cheerful blooms can be cut and will often reward you with a longer blooming season. Once the blooms fade, the flower heads can be dried, and their seeds can be replanted for the next summer. No wonder the Zinnia symbolizes endurance, strong friendship, and lasting affection.
The freshly picked collection joyfully celebrates the vibrant life blooming around us with the changing seasons. Each Original drawing begins its life as a quick sketch by Erica in her sketchbook. Each sheet is individually torn rather than cut, to preserve the originality of each page. To add a touch of whimsy, small pools of watercolor are added on the paper in shapes that compliment the specific flower. The sketches are then transferred and hand drawn in graphite, creating a series of original drawings that are similar but each have their own individual personality.
