I cannot express how much it means that I get to spend time on this project and finally get to release this book to y'all. “The Garden Alphabet” Book started among the classrooms of SCAD during my senior year almost ten years ago. It was never finished and sat untouched for more than 8 years. Then last year, along came my daughter and the world felt Topsy-Turvy. My husband, Drew, urged me to find something that was a passion project and to spend my first moments back from having our daughter not glued to the computer screen or printer, pushing my business further and further but rather at my drawing desk working on what would make my heart happiest. For over a year, I have spent quiet (and not so quiet) moments in my studio doing what helped best nourish my heart and soul. To me, this book is a love letter to myself. A way to show myself that life can be perfectly imperfect and created amongst the beautiful chaos. So from the bottom of my heart, thank you for being here and enjoying what has taken years to bring to life!
