Cloudless Sulphur Butterfly Original Artwork
The cloudless sulphur butterfly is found throughout most of the mainland of the US. It is the most common along the eastern US and along the Southern portions of the West Coast. It's scientic name Phoebis sennae is inspired by two different factors. Phoebis is derived from Apollo's sister Phoebe in greek mythology. Where as Senna is brought from it's host plant that helps support the butterflies life cycle.
