Each Mini Original drawing starts among the pages of Erica's sketchbook as a quick graphite drawing. From there each page of paper is hand torn to create the perfect size paper for each drawing. To add a little extra fun to each drawing small pools of watercolor are added to the paper forming fun shapes that are unique to each piece. The sketches are then transferred and hand drawn in graphite to creating a series of original drawings that are similar but each have their own individual personality.
The chrysanthemum flower is November's designated Birth Flower. Also known as the "mum" these flowers are cultivated widely and come in a wide variety of shape, size. They are the most popular flower to be given flowers coming in second next to the Rose. The Chrysanthemum symbolizes optimism and joy. It's traditionally given on Mother's Day as well as for 13th wedding anniversaries!
