Each Mini Original drawing starts among the pages of Erica's sketchbook as a quick graphite drawing. From there each page of paper is hand torn to create the perfect size paper for each drawing. To add a little extra fun to each drawing small pools of watercolor are added to the paper forming fun shapes that are unique to each piece. The sketches are then transferred and hand drawn in graphite to creating a series of original drawings that are similar but each have their own individual personality.
The carnation flower is January's designated Birth Flower. In general Carnations are most known to symbolize love, fasciation, protection, strength and healing. One of the most interesting facts about carnations is that the color most often symbolizes different types of love. Red for Pride and Admiration, Pink for Love of women or mother, and White for innocence and pure love.
**Please note that due to the handmade quality of this product, size, color, and drawing can have differences from piece to piece. Each paper is approximately between 4x4" and 5x7" but the exact size will differ.
