Freshly Picked Summer Collection

Collection leaves mid September 2026. Pick these blooms while they last.

The Black-eyed Susan stands as a vibrant symbol of pollinators' journeys throughout the warm summer months. With around 30 different species, this cheerful member of the Rudbeckia family is native exclusively to North America, making it one of the few wildflowers not found across the globe. Its name traces back to an Old English poem by John Gay, โ€œBlack-Eyed Susan,โ€ which tells the story of a farewell between William, who is setting sail, and a sorrowful woman named Susan as he departs for the sea.

The freshly picked collection joyfully celebrates the vibrant life blooming around us with the changing seasons. Featuring bright florals and fruits, alongside earthy fungi and ferns, this series captures the essence of the season and the cherished memories it brings. Each illustration, like a fleeting moment, is available only during its specific blooming period, symbolizing the transient beauty of nature.

Each Original drawing begins its life as a quick sketch by Erica in her sketchbook. Each sheet is individually torn rather than cut, to preserve the originality of each page. To add a touch of whimsy, small pools of watercolor are added on the paper in shapes that compliment the specific flower. The sketches are then transferred and hand drawn in graphite, creating a series of original drawings that are similar but each have their own individual personality.
